I discovered that by using food as a medicine, and it complements any medication you may be taking, is about making conscious choices and using the energetic effects of those specific foods, and how they are prepared, to support and heal conditions.
There is a wide variety of cooking styles we can use to create a desired effect within the body. But, it’s imperative to know when it’s best to use each.

I am sure you have heard of first impression. We tend to notice an individual’s face and outward appearance first, because our appearance reflects who we are. Imbalances in our lives and within our body show up on our face and skin.
Our bodies’ energy will always seek health, in spite of what we may do to ourselves physically.
Our appearance reflects who we are – our physical health, emotions and spirit. The skin is the body’s largest elimination organ but its often overloaded with toxins and unable to expel the toxins.
I want you to know and understand that a body cleanse is not right for everyone. If your body is in a state of deficiency or weakness, a body cleanse is not the approach. It could make your condition worse as you deplete bodily reserves.
So if you are suffering from any of these deficiencies, (leukemia, muscular dystrophy, colitis, adrenal fatigue, to name a few) you need to build up your body before cleansing it.
When your detoxification systems are in good working order, we won't accumulate excess waste in our cells, organs and glands. But, if our internal detox system is congested, this contributes to a whole lot of health issues!
